A continuous supply of hot and cold water is required for this purpose.  Thermostatic mixing valves ensure that the water at the faucet is always at the correct temperature and prevent unwanted temperature fluctuations.<\/p>\n<p>The scald protection reliably protects the user from scalding. The scald protection is activated if the hot water temperature rises uncontrollably or if the cold water supply fails. <\/p>\n<p>The thermostatic mixing valve ensures a continuous water supply even if the hot water supply fails (e.g., when the hot water is turned off). This function is activated when the pressure difference between the cold and hot water exceeds 0.5 bar. In this case, cold water flows from the outlet (bypass function).  <\/p>\n<h3>Technical Description<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Adjustment range: 20\u201343\u00b0C, preset to 22\u00b0C<\/li>\n<li>Automatic inspection of the cold- and hot-water supply lines<\/li>\n<li>Concealed water temperature control with scald protection set at 43\u00b0C<\/li>\n<li>Hot water shuts off automatically if the cold water supply fails<\/li>\n<li>Flow rate: 110 liters per minute at a differential pressure of 2.0 bar; flow rate in bypass mode: 60 liters per minute at a differential pressure of 2.0 bar<\/li>\n<li>Hot water connection: 1&#8243; male thread, cold water connection: 1&#8243; male thread, water outlet: 1&#8243; male thread<\/li>\n<li>Integrated check valves in the cold- and hot-water connections to protect the drinking water<\/li>\n<li>Dimensions (H x W x D): 162 x 164 x 56 mm<\/li>\n<li>in accordance with BGI\/GUV-I 850-0, DIN 1988, and EN 1717<\/li>\n<li>according to ANSI Z358.1-2014 and EN 15154-2:2006<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ComfortLine series of thermostatic mixing valves are special mixing valves designed for Eye showers and Safety showers, ensuring highly precise water temperature control and protection against scalding.
