Safety shower arms
Safety shower arms are used to rinse and decontaminate people following accidents and are used in conjunction with safety shower valves. They are suitable for use in laboratories and research facilities, as well as for harsh industrial environments. These emergency showers are mandatory first-aid equipment for workplaces where staff may come into contact with hazardous substances, acids, alkalis, heat, flames and even extreme levels of dirt. The limited, even and, above all, gentle water jet is optimised for rinsing chemicals off the skin.

What are the different installation options for safety shower arms?

How can contamination of the standing water in the shower caused by safety shower arms be prevented?
All B-SAFETY safety shower arms in combination with a safety shower valve with a drain feature are designed to be self-draining between the trigger valve and the showerhead to prevent the growth of bacteria in standing water before it occurs.
What are the special features of safety shower arms?
Safety shower arms can be purchased separately and adapted to the specific on-site conditions. This makes it possible to accommodate almost any installation requirement, such as use in combination with safety shower valves or the BR 285 095.
The safety shower arm is fitted with the B-SAFETY high-performance shower head, which not only complies with the requirements of ANSI Z358.1 and DIN EN 15154, but is also self-draining, largely limescale-free and maintenance-free, as well as being very robust and corrosion-resistant. The integrated automatic flow regulator ensures a standard-compliant spray pattern regardless of the local water pressure. The B-SAFETY emergency shower is marked with the enclosed information sign in accordance with DIN EN ISO 7010 and ASR A1.3, which improves its visibility. The visibility distance is 15 metres.
