Safety shower combinations
Safety shower combinations, or combinations of full-body safety showers and eye wash units, take up less space than individual units. This makes it possible to create a central first-aid point. They are used to rinse and decontaminate people following accidents. They are suitable for use in laboratories and research facilities. These emergency showers are mandatory first-aid facilities for workplaces where staff may come into contact with hazardous substances, acids, alkalis, heat, flames and also extreme levels of dirt.

How is contamination of the standing water in the shower prevented in safety shower combinations?
Even in their standard configuration, B-SAFETY safety shower combinations can be connected to a through-flow system, which prevents standing water in the shower. Each unit has one Water inlet at the top and one at the bottom.
All B-SAFETY body safety showers and safety shower combinations are designed to be self-draining between the trigger valve and the shower head to prevent the growth of bacteria in standing water before it occurs.
What are the unique features of safety shower combinations?
By combining it with a hand-held eye shower, such as the BR864085, or a hand-held shower, an injured person also has the option of providing partial first aid for minor injuries without having to use the full-body body safety shower right away.
All safety shower combinations are equipped with the B-SAFETY high-performance shower head, which not only meets the requirements of ANSI Z358.1 and EN 15154 but is also self-draining, largely limescale- and maintenance-free, and very robust and corrosion-resistant.
What standards apply to Safety shower combinations?
Our safety shower combinations comply with the standards DIN EN 15154-1:2006 (Full-body showers in laboratories), EN 15154-5:2019 (Full-body showers for locations other than laboratories / Replacement for DIN 12899-3:2009), and ANSI Z358.1-2014. Showers with an integrated Eye shower comply with EN 15154-2:2006 and, in the U.S., ANSI Z358.1-2014. Other national standards may also apply. In addition, company-specific standards may need to be taken into account when selecting a Safety shower combination.
