1. Preamble
Accidents can happen anywhere. People who handle aggressive chemicals such as acids, alkalis, solvents, and flammable substances are particularly at risk. Eye injuries can also occur quickly in dusty areas or where wood or metals are being processed.
In the event of burns or contact with chemicals, body showers located directly at the workplace are essential for providing prompt first aid. Eye showers allow you to immediately rinse foreign objects, dust, or chemicals out of the eyes following an incident.
2. Integrity and Compliance with the Law
✓ We are committed to complying with all applicable national and international laws, in particular human rights, ILO labor standards, and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
✓ Corruption, bribery, tax crimes, or environmental crimes will not be tolerated in any form.
✓ Our accounting, business processes, and decision-making are transparent, accurate, and verifiable.
3. Working Conditions and Human Rights
✓ Child labor is not tolerated. No employee is under 16 years of age.
✓ Forced labor and exploitation are prohibited—both internally and among suppliers.
✓ All employees receive written employment contracts that meet legal standards.
✓ Work hours: max. 39.5 hours/week; rest periods are observed; employees may decline overtime; regular vacation time is provided and encouraged.
✓ A safe, healthy, and drug-free work environment—including care from the company physician.
✓ No discrimination, no political or religious propaganda in the workplace.
✓ Freedom of association and the right to employee participation are respected.

4. QUSS Policy – Quality, Environment, Safety, Security
Our QUSS policy outlines four key areas of focus:
✓ Quality: Our products and services are tailored to our customers’ expectations. Personalized consulting, customer-focused system solutions, and on-time delivery are at the heart of our commitment.
✓ Environmental Protection: We reduce emissions, minimize waste, promote environmentally friendly technologies, and optimize resource use. We prevent environmental impact and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. We continuously improve our performance within the framework of our Environmental Management System (EMS).
✓ Safety: We ensure safe workplaces, safe product manufacturing (e.g., Safety showers), and comply with all relevant regulations. All employees receive regular training on operational and workplace safety. Our equipment and workplaces are regularly inspected and evaluated.
✓ Security: We protect our IT systems, company buildings, and confidential information from unauthorized access.
The QUSS objectives are reviewed annually during the management review and continuously improved. The QUSS policy, along with our Code of Conduct, has been communicated to all employees.
