Safety shower valves
Safety shower valves are activation devices for safety showers, which are used to rinse and decontaminate people following accidents, and are used in conjunction with safety shower arms. The emergency shower valve consists of a robust ball valve approved for drinking water and ensures long-term use. They are suitable for use in laboratories and research facilities, as well as for harsh industrial environments. Emergency shower valves are mandatory first-aid equipment for workplaces where staff may come into contact with hazardous substances, acids, alkalis, heat, flames and even extreme levels of dirt.

Safety shower valves can be purchased individually and adapted to on-site conditions. They are also available as part of a modular system. This allows for the implementation of almost any installation requirement, such as in combination with Safety shower arms or the BR 285 095.
The integrated automatic flow regulator ensures a spray pattern that complies with standards, regardless of the local water pressure. The included information sign, which complies with EN ISO 7010 and ASR A1.3, identifies the B-SAFETY safety shower and improves its visibility. To ensure that the Safety shower valve can be used without confusion in an emergency, the orange “OPEN” information sign is designed to be photoluminescent in accordance with DIN 67510.
